Job summary

Compass Group USA, ESFM division, is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer for the Buckeye, AZ facility on 3rd shift. This role supports the Director with operational oversight and serves as a liaison with the client to deliver high-quality service.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM local time. Responsibilities include reviewing programs, ensuring staffing, conducting inspections, and coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and transmit detailed instructions.
• Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and adapt to a changing environment.
• Strong work ethic, leadership, and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies and procedures.
• Monitors quality and flow of work to assure timely completion of tasks.
• Provides effective client rapport to build a mutually beneficial business relationship.
• Plans work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate staffing.
• Performs regular inspections and evaluations of the facility and recommends action items.
• Conducts regular staff meetings and coordinates with other departments to support operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
