Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for inpatient hospital medicine, mainly nights (6pm–6am) with an alternating 7-on/7-off schedule. The role covers Wesley Chapel, Tampa area, and Zephyrhills areas, under physician supervision and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities include inpatient management, diagnostics, and multidisciplinary rounds, with emphasis on autonomy, patient education, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Inpatient care and management skills for advanced practice providers.
• Ability to work with high-autonomy in specialized inpatient settings.
• Strong communication with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides inpatient management, consultation, and co-management of medical and surgical patients.
• Assesses patients using history, exam, and diagnostics; develops diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Prescribes medications and participates in patient education and preventive care.
• Participates in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborates on specialty consultations.
