Job summary

Allied Universal in Holland, MI is seeking a Security Officer Access Authorization. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials and maintain logs at a food and beverage site while delivering customer service and ensuring a secure environment for employees and visitors.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $18.58 / Hour. You will perform patrols, respond to incidents and contribute to a safe, compliant workplace with professional presence.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment; licensing as required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors and visitors by executing site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a food and beverage manufacturing location, verify credentials, and maintain visitor/contractor logs.
• Control entry/exit of personnel, deliveries and vehicles; report unauthorized access and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following procedures and communicating with emergency personnel and site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
