Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Georgetown, DE. This full-time role involves safeguarding clients, managing entry points, verifying credentials, and supporting a welcoming environment at a food and beverage production site.

A valid driver’s license is required, and the position is paid per hour. Key duties include monitoring access, issuing visitor credentials, and coordinating with site contacts to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• At least 6 months of security experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Control access for delivery personnel, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with established facility procedures, including directing individuals to designated check-in areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
