Job summary

North Memorial Health in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, customer- and family-focused care. The RN will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care per hospital policies and professional nursing standards, ensuring high-quality nursing services.

The role requires RN licensure in MN, BLS and unit-specific certifications; shift is nights, with 12-hour blocks and a 60-hour biweekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews maternal prenatal history and collects current signs/symptoms of the newborn.
• Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate customer plan of care.
• Performs transition, admission, discharge and transfer assessments while considering both physical and psychosocial elements of newborn and family.
• Initiates family education plan, as prescribed by physician. Teaches families and significant others how to manage their newborn’s care or illness.
