Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Transport, for NICU transport in the Round Rock area. This full-time night role includes 12-hour shifts and requires coordination with physicians to stabilize patients during transfer to tertiary care centers.

The position emphasizes neonatal and pediatric transport expertise, with responsibilities across procedures, documentation, and protocols in a hospital-wide resource capacity.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• EXPERIENCE: 2 Years of Experience
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, NBRC RRT-NPS, TX RCP license, RRT

Responsibilities

• Performs and directs respiratory care services including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, airway clearance, intubation, ventilation, and spirometry.
• Administers CPR in emergencies.
• Reviews orders and lab results to provide appropriate therapy.
• Implements approved protocols as directed by a physician.
• Supports transport and patient care operations and develops standards of care.
• Maintains documentation and reports outcomes of interventions.
