Job summary

PeaceHealth SHMC at Riverbend in Springfield, OR is seeking a Speech Pathologist NICU for a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range is $46.27 – $69.41 per hour, with hiring rate dependent on education, experience, and union terms.

You will evaluate patients, establish plans of care, supervise trainees, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes for neonatal patients.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology accredited by ASHA.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and establishes a treatment plan and goals.
• Completes patient treatment according to plan of care and updates plan as appropriate.
• Completes documentation accurately and timely per licensure requirements and standards.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuous patient care.
• Mentors and provides oversight to trainees and therapy staff; supports student learning.
• Participates in development of new services, quality improvement and monitoring activities.
• Participates in staff and caregiver orientation and meetings.
