St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech and language disorders. This role collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure patient care goals are met.
The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and at least one year of related experience, demonstrating professional standards and a commitment to patient well-being.
Position Title: Speech Language Pathologist (Full-Time, Days)
Pay range: $44.01 - $66.02
Evaluates, plans, and provides treatment and rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring physician. Works with family and team members regarding patients’ abilities and goals. Does not directly manage any other caregivers.
Required: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a college or university accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Required: Must have necessary requisites for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the Oregon State Board of Health. Must have an active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Must have a valid Oregon driver’s license and meet St. Charles Health System driving requirements. Ability to travel to business functions, training, meetings and all St. Charles Health System worksites. Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Required: 1 year experience of therapy procedures with medical-based diagnoses and familiarity with rehabilitation practices.
Preferred: Previous experience in a hospital-based setting.
