Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver direct patient care per physician orders and to consult on therapy effectiveness. You will support physicians and nursing staff as an advanced resource for respiratory care and perform duties with appropriate equipment usage.

This position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus, day-one benefits including health, vision and dental coverage, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plan matching for eligible coworkers.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Possess the NBRC RRT credential; PALS if ER is involved.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on the effectiveness of therapy and supports nursing staff.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Operates respiratory care devices and equipment as needed.
