Job summary

Mercy seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct patient care in the ICU and other units, following physician orders or protocol. You will assess therapy effectiveness and maintain life-support equipment, including ventilator support during CPR, aligned with Mercy standards.

Requirements: graduate from an accredited respiratory care program, current state license, NBRC RRT certification (BLS/NRP/PALS preferred). Neonatal/pediatric ICU experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited College Program in Respiratory Care.
• Current license to practice in the state.
• NBRC RRT certification; BLS, NRP and PALS preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Neonatal/Pediatric ICU experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per orders or protocol.
• Determine effectiveness of respiratory therapy and adjust as needed.
• Provide ventilator support during CPR and monitor life-support equipment.
