Job summary

Truman Medical Center's UH Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, seeks a PRN Clinical Nurse RN to join the NICU team. Working 6:45 PM–7:15 AM, 4 hours per week, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill newborns and support families.

You will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, mentor students, and stay compliant with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS certification.
• PRN position requires at least one year of medical/surgical experience or one year in the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using expert skills.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Maintain compliance with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational/regulatory requirements.
