Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Kettering, OH, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for 12-hour night shifts. You will provide nursing care using the nursing process, collaborate with healthcare teams, and advocate for patient safety.

Applicants must be Ohio-licensed RNs with a BSN preferred within five years of hire and BLS, ACLS/NRP/PALS as required by unit scope. This is a non-profit, multi-facility system committed to safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE).
• BSN preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• A nurse returning to acute care after five or more years may need to provide evidence of a refresher course.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process in collaboration with other health care providers.
• Be accountable for own professional development and practice within the scope defined by law.
• Advocate for safe care and participate in performance and practice improvement activities.
• Deliver care aligned with the Kettering Health Network's mission, vision, values and nursing philosophies.
