Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Kettering, OH is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for 12-hour night shifts. You will apply the nursing process in collaboration with the care team to provide safe, high-quality patient care.

The role requires an Ohio RN license; BSN is preferred and should be completed within 5 years. BLS, ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required by unit scope, with a focus on professional development and adherence to KH values.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Ohio as an RN.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if a new graduate.
• BSN preferred (completed within 5 years of hire).
• A nurse returning to acute care after five+ years may need a refresher course.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process in collaboration with other health care providers.
• Accountable for own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
• Advocate for patient safety and delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities.
• Deliver nursing care that reflects the KH Network's mission, vision, values, and philosophies.
