Job summary

Medical City McKinney is seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for night shift. Join a dedicated team delivering high‑quality neonatal care in a Level II unit, with rotating weekends and opportunities for career growth across the Medical City network.

You will provide comprehensive assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, supervise staff, and support families of premature infants through early infancy.

Qualifications

• RN NICU experience required (1+ years)
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days
• NRP must be obtained within 90 days
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months
• Texas or compact-state RN license
• Association Degree in Nursing
• Bachelor’s Degree to be completed within 2 years
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments per standards of care and protocols.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed staff within RN scope and policies.
• Educate and support families of premature infants through 2 years of age.
