Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Guthrie, OK is seeking a Nights, Full Time Neonatal ICU nurse to provide patient-centered care in a high-acuity unit.

You will apply the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with the rest of the team and hospital departments.

Educational requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program; active Oklahoma RN license; BLS certification; and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Active RN license in Oklahoma with compact licensure as needed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements include ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing/walking.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
