Job summary

Mercy Hospital – W Memorial Rd in Oklahoma City is seeking a Neonatal ICU Registered Nurse for night shift, full time (36 hours per week). You will apply the nursing process to provide patient care and coordinate with the bedside team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with duties including standing and walking throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Must maintain current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Physical: Ability to push, pull and lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking.
• Certifications: BLS certification or within 30 days of hire; other unit certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
