Job summary

Texas Health Dallas NICU is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Level III unit providing care from 22 weeks onward. The role includes delivering nursing care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting patient transfers.

Requires nursing diploma or associate degree; BSN preferred; 1 year clinical experience or RN residency completion; 2+ years NICU experience preferred; training in transport is encouraged. Work hours are PRN, 7:00pm–7:00am.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or an Associate degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• One-year nursing experience or completion of an RN residency program.
• Two years NICU experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures.
