Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN for NICU care in Plano, TX. This role requires Night shifts (12 hours) and at least 36 hours weekly in a Level II-III NICU, from 10/19/2026 to 1/18/2027.

The NICU comprises about 41 beds with a ~60 staff team, and patient ratios from 1:1 to 1:4. Must have BLS, NRP, and 1+ year NICU experience. Preference for Level III-IV exposure and advanced respiratory support skills.

Qualifications

• Required: BLS certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), 1+ year NICU experience in Level II-III or higher.
• Strong teamwork and adaptiveness to a fast-paced NICU environment.
• Willingness to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level II-III NICU.
• Support unit staffing needs during night shifts (12 hours) with a minimum 36 hours per week.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
