Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU at Women and Infants Tower in Indianapolis, IN. This Full Time Nights position provides direct patient care in the NICU, coordinating care across disciplines and ensuring accurate orders are carried out.

Requires Indiana RN license, BLS, and diploma in nursing; Neonatal Resuscitation certification preferred. Ascension offers comprehensive benefits including health, retirement, PTO and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of hire
• RN license by Indiana Board of Nursing prior to hire
• Neonatal Resuscitation (AAP) preferred
• STABLE Program preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans and communicate patient condition.
• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
