Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a NICU RN to care for infants 32 weeks and above in a high-acuity unit. This full-time position offers night shifts and a strong emphasis on teamwork with respiratory, speech, and lactation support staff.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure in Indiana, ASN/BSN preferred, and BLS/ALCS certifications as required. The unit emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, and continuous learning."

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC acceptable.
• BLS/ACLS/other life support as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for NICU infants 32 weeks and above.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to vital signs and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide family support and education.
