Detroit Medical Center (DMC) in Detroit, MI, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care unit. This PRN daytime nursing position focuses on specialized newborn care within the DMC Sinai‑Grace Hospital setting.

Join a dedicated team delivering compassionate, evidence-based care for fragile neonates while collaborating with physicians and the broader care team. Eligible candidates must graduate from a nursing program, be licensed in Michigan, and hold AHA BLS

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan.
• AHA BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Delivers and delegates patient care activities to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patients for discharge.
• Reports to senior unit management and participates in shared decision-making.
