Job summary

Detroit Medical Center in Hamtramck, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the NICU to join the patient care team. The RN will lead nursing care for neonates, collaborate with physicians and staff, and support families through care planning and discharge preparation.

Requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program, Michigan RN license, and BLS. BSN preferred. This is a full-time night-shift position with comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes collaborative relationships with physicians and health care providers.
• Delegates and evaluates patient care; monitors progress and discharge readiness.
• Provides patient care activities to the nursing team and supports family education.
