Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care according to policies and nursing process.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings, report changes to care team.
• Provide age-appropriate care using knowledge of human growth and development.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with the team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
