Job summary

Qualifications

• Twelve months RN experience in a healthcare environment.
• Must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days (if establishing Texas residency).
• BLS or Instructor certification (AHA).
• NRP required within 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Conduct nursing assessments and assist with exams and treatment.
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and the interprofessional team.
• Lead unit activities as charge nurse or preceptor when appropriate.
