Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Topeka, KS seeks a day shift, full-time NICU/RN to deliver high‑quality patient care in a busy unit. You will assess, plan, and coordinate care for newborns and their families, collaborating with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Applicants should hold an Associate’s degree in nursing with Kansas RN licensure; BLS, ACLS, oncology certification preferred or to be obtained per policy, and basic computer skills to document care efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must have Associate’s degree in nursing and current Kansas RN licensure.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS and oncology certifications expected as noted.
• All required certifications must be completed within the first year.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe patient care delivery for specified populations.
• Assess patient/family needs and update care plans.
• Delegate care to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
