Lake Granbury Medical Center in Granbury, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across acute hospital units. You will perform assessments, administer meds, coordinate with physicians, and educate patients and families.

This PRN role emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork in a mission-driven environment. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of clinical experience, RN licensure, BCLS, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience required
• RN licensure required (state or compact)
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process and organizational policies.
• Assess patients thoroughly and document findings; report changes to care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Provide education to patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Assist physicians during procedures within scope of competency.
• Engage in performance improvement and safety initiatives.
