Las Palmas Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in El Paso, TX. You will perform newborn assessments, develop a plan of care, and implement evaluations to ensure safe, high-quality infant care.

The role requires RN licensure, an Associate Degree, and BCLS and Neonate Resuscitation certifications within 30 days of start; no travel; 1 year experience preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and staff support.

Qualificações

• As a NICU RN, you will perform newborn assessments, develop a plan of care, and implement and evaluate care for infants.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality infant care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and clinical standards in all NICU procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Complete admission assessments of newborns.
• Create and revise care plans, including discharge plans.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and communicate changes.
• Administer medications and complete treatments per policy.
• Assist transport team in stabilization and transfer documentation.
• Provide family education on homecare, treatments, and support groups.
• Assist mothers with breastfeeding with lactation department.
• Delegate work to non-licensed staff per standards of practice.
