Job summary

Tennova Healthcare- North Knoxville Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to administer pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic respiratory care under physician orders. Qualifications

• RRT certification required.
• ACLS, PALS required; NRP and STABLE when NICU is involved.
• 1-3 years of respiratory experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Orients patient to treatment modality to ensure cooperation and successful completion.
• Performs ABG punctures and reports results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Maintains and calibrates respiratory equipment and ensures safety standards.
• Documents treatments and patient responses clearly and thoroughly.
