Job summary

Tanner in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for NICU - Cardiopulmonary on nights. The role includes 12-hour shifts from 7p to 7a and involves weekend work on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities include administering respiratory treatments, airway and ventilator management, blood gases, and related noninvasive cardiology procedures, while delivering high-quality patient care and supporting quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Must attend S.T.A.B.L.E. baby course within 18 months of employment.
• Must become certified in NRP, PALS and ACLS within 10 months of employment.
• Has at least 1 year Level III NICU experience either with Tanner or at another Level III NICU facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments per policy; airway and ventilator management.
• Perform blood gas analysis and other noninvasive cardiology procedures.
• Contribute to quality improvement and act as a resource to staff.
