Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the NICU, with rotating weekend shifts in a major Dallas-area hospital. The role supports critical patient care in a high-acuity NICU environment.

You will deliver professional respiratory therapy, perform assessments, and participate in care planning. The position requires NICU experience, RRT credentials, and a commitment to teamwork and patient safety.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, PALS required or must be obtained within specified timeframes.
• State-registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RCP) credential required.
• 1+ year of RRT experience in a NICU setting required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional respiratory care in the NICU.
• Assess patients and assign acuity; follow Nursing Process in care delivery.
• May supervise an RN and/or students; function as a preceptor and charge nurse.
