Qualifications

• Ability to communicate well, critical thinking, and establish working relationships with physicians and health care professionals.
• Proficient computer skills with familiarity with databases.
• Graduate degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred for advanced practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care with emphasis in critical care areas and protocol ventilator management.
• Administer aerosolized meds, bronchial hygiene, and oxygen/medical gas therapy.
• Perform ventilator management, weaning, and airway management as needed.
• Educate patients and mentor new employees and students.
• Assist in Cardiac Service procedures and Pulmonary Diagnostic Testing.
