Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist to deliver respiratory care under physician orders in a busy NICU and critical care setting.

Under supervision of department leadership, you will set up ventilators, monitor patients, perform blood gas sampling, and adhere to policies to ensure high-quality care for neonates and adults. UHS benefits apply.

Formación

• Candidate must have valid Respiratory Therapist licensure in the state.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• BLS and ACLS certification; PALS, NRP, and Blood Gas Technologist certification within 90 days.
• NICU experience 3+ years preferred.
• 5+ years verifiable experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Respiratory Care services under physician orders and department policies.
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and airway management.
• Perform arterial punctures for blood gas analysis.
• Respond to patient needs and ensure safety in critical care settings.

Conocimientos

NICU Level 3-RT experience

Neonatal respiratory therapy

Educación

AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy

Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure
