Qualifications

• Graduate of a AMA approved School of Respiratory Care.
• Less than 1 year related experience.
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers physician prescribed respiratory therapy, including oxygen and medications.
• Monitors patients requiring mechanical ventilation and evaluates treatment effectiveness.
• Communicates with healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Skills

Ability to provide respiratory therapy methodologies and techniques

Ability to operate and trouble-shoot diagnostic equipment

Education

Bachelor’s Degree from an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care
