Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU in Middletown, CT. This travel contract involves caring for newborns, providing intensive, around-the-clock medical and daily care as needed in the NICU setting.

The role requires an active RN license in the practicing state, at least one year of NICU experience, CPR readiness, and the ability to meet all regulatory requirements. 18+ years old and willing to work in varied healthcare facilities are expected.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• One year NICU experience required.
• Current CPR, if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Care for newborns in the NICU, including medical needs and basic daily care activities.
• Provide intensive around-the-clock care for pre-term or term newborns with birth complications.

Job description

The Registered Nurse – NICU cares for newborn babies who aredelivered pre-term or at-term newborns who experience complications at the timeof birth. The Registered Nurse – NICU provides intensive around-the-clock care,including both medical needs and basic daily care activities.
