Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Registered Nurse - NICU for a travel assignment in Dallas, TX. The RN NICU will care for newborns with pre-term or birth complications, delivering around-the-clock intensive care and essential daily nursing duties.

Minimum requirements include an active RN license for the state, NICU experience, NRP and CPR cards, health certification, and compliance with all federal/state regulations. The role offers competitive weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year NICU experience required.
• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• NRP card per contract requirement.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Cares for newborns in the NICU setting, including pre-term and at-term infants with complications.
• Provides intensive around-the-clock care and monitoring.
• Performs medical and basic daily care activities as required by infants.

The Registered Nurse - NICU cares for newborn babies who are delivered pre-term or at-term newborns who experience complications at the time of birth. The Registered Nurse - NICU provides intensive around-the-clock care, including both medical needs and basic daily care activities.
