Job summary

Amergis is seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Lodi, CA. The RN will care for newborns, including pre-term or ill infants, providing around-the-clock clinical support under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• NICU experience is required (1 year).
• NRP certification required per contract.

• Complies with professional standards and laws.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Care for newborns in the NICU, including pre-term and ill infants.
• Provide intensive around-the-clock care under physician supervision.
• Deliver medical and basic daily care activities as directed.

The Registered Nurse – NICU cares for newborn babies who aredelivered pre-term or at-term newborns who experience complications at the timeof birth. The Registered Nurse – NICUprovides intensive around-the-clock care, including both medical needs andbasic daily care activities under the supervision and direction of thePhysician.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which thenurse practices required

• One year NICU experience required

• NRP card per contract requirement

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
