Job summary

ProHealth Care in Wisconsin seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to manage critically ill neonates in the NICU, collaborating with neonatologists at the Level 3 NICU. The NNP will also educate nursing staff, residents and students in Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital's couplet-care unit and WMH’s NICU.

Ideal candidates hold WI NP licensure, a Master’s degree, strong communication and computer skills, and BLS/NRP certification at hire. NICU experience is preferred in a dynamic health system.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in nursing and WI NP licensure.
• BLS and NRP certification required upon hire.
• Strong communication and computer skills expected.
• Positive attitude and teamwork with staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintains credentials with procedural privileges through WMH/OMH.
• Maintains Neonatal NCC certification.
• Participates in mortality and morbidity rounds.
• Participates in NICU research activities as needed.
• Provides procedural support to the ED for newborns/infants.
