Required: High School diploma or GED, BLS, and familiarity with medical terminology. Strong handwriting, computer skills, and organization are essential for bedside and charting

Qualifications

• Organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to ensure smooth department operation.
• Notify and call other departments or physicians when necessary.
• Place information on charts and electronic records accurately.
• Access medication room to place medications in a secure area.
• Document and monitor activities; support performance improvements.
• Interact with patients appropriate to age, acuity, and culture.
