Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital in Missouri is seeking a Patient Care Support Supervisor to oversee Unit Secretaries and Milk Techs in the NICU. This full-time role involves supervising staff, coordinating coverage, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

The position requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, an HS diploma or GED (Associate’s preferred), CPR certification, and strong leadership skills. Night shifts with Monday–Friday schedule and weekend rotation are included.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree preferred
• 2-5 years of supervisory or healthcare support experience
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Manages staff including hires, trains, assigns work and evaluates performance.
• Participates in staffing, revenue/expense budgets and meeting department goals.
• Leads and supervises support services staff and assigned areas.
• Supports unit services and integration with other departments.
• Supports process improvement and ensures safety/regulatory compliance.
• Coordinates intake/dismissal of outside agency personnel and agency contracts.
