Job summary

XPDEL, Inc. in Salinas, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist for the NICU on a temporary-to-full-time basis. You will provide OT interventions to NICU patients, including assessment, care planning, patient and family education, scheduling, and documenting treatment.

Must have NICU experience and a California Occupational Therapy license. Current BLS/AHA certification is required. At least 3 years OT experience with 1 year in NICU.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years OT experience, including 1 year in NICU.
• MUST have NICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides OT interventions per referral in NICU.
• Assesses, plans, and documents treatment and progress.
• Educates patients and families regarding treatment plans and prognosis.
• Coordinates with CCS Case Manager for post-discharge care.
• Supervises therapy students and therapy assistants during affiliations.
• Performs duties as Charge Therapist when needed.
