Job summary

HRforGrowth is assisting in placing an Occupational Therapist for NICU duties in Salinas, CA. The role requires NICU experience and a California OT license, with pay between $75 and $80 per hour for a temp-to-hire arrangement.

Job Duties

Works under the supervision of Rehab Supervisor and Manager of Rehabilitation Services.

Provides Occupational Therapy interventions to patients per referral, including assessment, care, planning, educating patients and families regarding treatment plans, progress and prognosis, scheduling, recording treatment information, and issuing appropriate adaptive equipment.

Should be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit.

• Regularly assumes duties of Charge Therapist
• Provides the highest degree of courtesy possible to all employees, patients and associates of the hospital.
• Adheres to establish Hospital safety standards
• Ensures that department objectives are met.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care age appropriate care to the patients

Required Certifications & Licensure

California Occupational Therapy license required.

Current BLSAHA required.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years OT experience, and 1 year of NICU

Education

Master of Occupational Therapy required.
