Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the NICU OT team at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. The role includes evaluation, planning and providing safe, effective patient care across multiple Fairview hospitals as needed, with a 0.9 FTE schedule and a 7:30am–4:00pm weekday clock plus weekend rotation and one holiday per year.

You will collaborate with patients and families, perform evaluations, develop goals, and ensure timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Minnesota OT licensure or temporary license in Minnesota.
• Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate patients and families; determine treatment diagnosis.
• Develop an individualized plan of care in coordination with patient and family.
• Implement and modify plan of care based on reassessment and patient response.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively.
• Establish discharge plans and provide patient/family education.
