Job summary

BayCare is seeking candidates for the Clinical Nurse - RN NICU Internship at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa, FL. The program targets new RNs or those with NICU exposure, with 24–26 weeks of clinical training and required certifications included.

Interns commit to two years in the unit, and will transition to night shifts after the internship concludes, working 6:45 PM–7:15 AM in person. BayCare offers comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required for NICU interns.
• Registered Nurse license required for internship eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred for candidates.
• Two-year commitment to the unit upon internship completion.

Responsibilities

• Participate in NICU patient care under supervision.
• Complete 24–26 weeks of clinical experience in the NICU.
• NRP and STABLE certifications included in the program.
• Two-year commitment to the unit after internship.
• Work nights (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) once internship is complete.
