In this NICU Nurse Practitioner position, reporting typically aligns under the NICU Medical Director and an Advanced Practice leadership structure, with daily collaboration alongside neonatologists, experienced bedside nurses, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, pharmacists, therapy services, and social work; as a Nurse Practitioner Neonatal professional, core responsibilities include delivery attendance and resuscitation, stabilization and ventilator management, line placement and nutrition planning, daily rounding and care planning, family education, evidence-based protocols, quality improvement, and thorough EMR documentation—supported by friendly nurses and a diverse, interdisciplinary care team that values mutual respect, autonomy, and shared governance.
