Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our nationally recognized neonatology team—ranked #26 nationally by U.S. News & World Report.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑volume, high‑acuity care for 1,900 newborns annually in a 142‑bed NICU with Level II, III, and IV units.
• Collaborate with 25 neonatologists and 7 NNPs within an award‑winning practice.
• Deliver cutting‑edge care, including exposure to complex cases such as EXIT procedures and Women’s ICU cases.
• Coordinate with RN/RT teams for delivery room coverage, transports, and PICC line management.
• Engage in professional growth through advanced training in POCUS and neonatal hemodynamics, and participate in academic opportunities at the Neonatal Fellowship site.
• Maintain flexible 12‑hour day and night shift schedules designed to support work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP.
• Minimum of a master’s degree.
• Experience caring for infants in a high‑volume NICU (preferred).
• Strong collaborative skills and commitment to evidence‑based neonatal care.
