Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a NICU Registered Nurse for a night shift in a 42-bed Level III NICU.

The role involves caring for premature and critically ill newborns, with opportunities to expand skills during high-risk deliveries after one year in NICU. Night shift, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, rotating every 3rd weekend and holidays. Graduate of accredited nursing program and active RN license in MO or a compact state are required, along with BLS and ALS/NRP/PALS variants as

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in MO or Compact State.
• BLS HealthCare Provider certification (AHA).
• ALS, NRP, PALS or NRP Essentials as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
