NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is seeking a dedicated Unit Clerk for the Premature Nursery (NICU) on the full-time night shift (11:45 PM–7:45 AM). You will greet patients and families, coordinate appointments, and manage clerical tasks at the unit nursing station to ensure smooth, accurate flow of information.

The role emphasizes patient-centered service in a fast-paced environment. Preferred candidates have healthcare experience; familiarity with Cerner or Eagle and MS Office

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Minimum of one year of clerical experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate appointments and perform general clerical duties at the unit nursing station to assure timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information.
• Welcome and direct visitors and hospital colleagues to appropriate areas.
• Page nurses and answer phones on your unit.
• Sign for important medical deliveries.
• Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities.
