Job summary

Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, RI seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in the NICU on the night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 4x12s). The role requires an active RRT credential, RI license or compact eligibility, and NICU experience.

Responsibilities include NICU respiratory therapy, weekend rotation, and documentation in Epic EMR. Onboarding includes vaccines and credentialing; extension may be available based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

Active Rhode Island license or compact-eligible
NBRC RRT credential and NBRC certification
1–2 years NICU respiratory therapy experience
Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
Proficient with Epic EMR for documentation

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy services in the NICU setting on night shift (7p-7:30a, 4x12s)
Participate in weekend rotation as required
Maintain NBRC RRT credential and RI license/compact-eligible licensure
Comply with onboarding health requirements and facility policies
Submit credentialing documents and references as part of onboarding
