Job summary

Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, RI seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in the NICU on the night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 4x12s). The role requires an active RRT credential, RI license or compact eligibility, and NICU experience.

Responsibilities include NICU respiratory therapy, weekend rotation, and documentation in Epic EMR. Onboarding includes vaccines and credentialing; extension may be available based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

Job Title: RRT
Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Schedule: 7:00PM - 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $81 - $88/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a RRT for a temporary assignment in Providence, Rhode Island. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a RRT:

• Provide respiratory therapy services in the NICU setting on night shift (7p-7:30a, 4x12s)
• Participate in weekend rotation as required
• Maintain and provide active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the NBRC
• Maintain and provide active Rhode Island Respiratory Therapist license or compact-eligible licensure
• Maintain current BLS, NRP, and ALS/ACLS certifications
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation
• Apply a minimum of 1-2 years of recent NICU respiratory therapy experience in patient care delivery
• Submit resume along with RT license, RRT certification, and current BLS/NRP/ACLS certifications for credentialing purposes
• Provide 2 clinical references covering relevant NICU experience
• Comply with onboarding health requirements including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, and TB testing
• Complete required background check, employment verification, and confidentiality agreements prior to start
• Complete required orientation and onboarding documentation including facility-specific forms and compliance packets
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and dress code requirements throughout the assignment
