Job summary

Millenniumsoft seeks a Travel Respiratory Therapist for Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI. This NICU-focused, night-shift position runs 19:00–07:30, 36 hours/week on a 13-week contract with weekend rotation. Onsite assignment requiring RI licensure and current CRT/RRT.

Responsibilities include delivering respiratory care, ventilator management, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient education, with roles in rounds and handoffs.

Qualifications

• Active RI license required (CRT or RRT)
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in respiratory care in NICU or acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform procedures: aerosol therapy, lung expansion, airway clearance, ventilator management, arterial blood sampling and analysis.
• Record therapy data and patient response in medical records; ensure accurate handoffs.
• Educate patients and families; participate in rounds and care planning.
• Train staff and students; may oversee care in supervisor's absence.
• Perform all related duties as assigned.
